Invited to speak at the 2013 World Surf Cities Network Conference

SAPNG is please to announce that we have been invited to speak at the 2013 World Surf Cities Network Conference on the Gold Coast late February 2013, to share our SAPNG surf management model and how it has evolved over the last 26 years, in contributing to the social and economic development and nation building of PNG, as an emerging Surfing and Surf Tourism nation.

Like all domestic , regional and international invitations to speak and share our SAPNG model, we are seeking your collective support for us ,to once again attend the coming together of the World Surfing nations to represent SAPNG and our members, our surfing communities /traditional resource custodians and PNG as a whole, to share our experiences and the evolution of what we are doing in our part of the world.

We believe as we mark 26 years since foundation in 2013, this will be an opportunity for SAPNG to make our presence felt on the world stage of Surfing, amongst the established and other emerging surf nations, following on from the world premier of “Splinters”, the PNG Surfing Doco in NYC, USA in 2011, at the Tribeca Film Festival.
